Really enjoyed this podcast. When this album came out I was expecting RM’s description of “hard” to mean something completely different. Though really Shadow should have really clued me in. (LOVE SHADOW) I was prepared in a kind of fierce fighting stance. Over the first hours and last few days of obsessively listening and reading the lyrics of this album, I felt it. But, it hit me from left field, and as a woman who’s currently putting a tentative step towards self improvement and fulfilling dreams long repressed by too early motherhood, hearing that it’s not easy and it’ll never be easy really makes it feel possible. I know that sounds weird… but, it reminds me of when I quit smoking. It took about 20 years of trying. I’d quit, and I’d start up again at the slightest sign that there was something difficult on the horizon, telling myself that “I’ll quit when there’s less ‘stuff’ happening.” The day I actually stopped and have never had a cigarette again, was the day I realized that there is always an excuse to give up. It’s just easier to cope by hiding and not following through. But with willpower, you learn to side step those pitfalls with a wise eye turned on the road and another set straight ahead. I love BTS so much, it’s nice to find like minded peers. Anyway, I’ll now snoop through your other podcasts. I look forward to hearing more from you!!

Thank you so much!!! Yes, there’s something immensely comforting to know that it is a hard road because when people show you that it’s hard, but they made it through – you somehow feel less dumb or something. I don’t know if that makes sense at all! lol. But you have done hard things – and so you can do hard things! Good luck on your journey!! You can do it! BORAHAE!!
